- A start date, estimated completion date and any action you may need to take to ensure the efficient completion of job

- DO take an ongoing interest in the work and if there are variations to what has been agreed, deal with them face to face.
- DO ensure your choice in terms of colour, design etc is understood by both parties
- DO ask for membership of any trade associations they may have
- DO ask that they have Public & Employer Liability insurance
