Lidl - Carrickmacross
Established in over 17 countries, the well known supermarket chain of Lidl has recently expanded its chain of over 5,000 stores to include the Co. Monaghan town of Carrickmacross.
As preferred supplier of bricks to the scheme Acheson & Glover have helped to create a store which aesthetically stands above the competition. The development is a superb example of the modern finish achievable with Acheson & Glover's new Stately brick range.
One of the clients key stipulations was that the finished store was to be built to exact standards throughout. The exterior brick work was also checked rigorously by the main contractor - a requirement which was easily met by Stately bricks manufactured to exact dimensional tolerances.
The finished building utilised two complementary colours from the range - Copper Flame, providing a bright glaze to detail elements in the design, and Charlemont Manor the predominant colour used.
Overall the building has been given distinctive contemporary looks which will undoubtedly help in attracting shoppers to the outlet.
