Letterkenny Retail Park
Letterkenny has established itself as a major retail town in the North West of Ireland, benefiting from its own population and cross border trade. The arrival of Letterkenny Retail Park has provided a welcome boost in visitor numbers to the town and standing at well over 7000 sq ft – has undoubtedly fast tracked the town’s development.
With the provision of numerous construction products to the scheme, Acheson & Glover has played its part in providing an attractive and stimulating shop front for the retail units. Alphacrete masonry blocks were used throughout the development utilizing Alphacrete Corinthian in Pantheon Amber colour to create a visually appealing building, the dark tones with sharp lines helping to announce its presence.
In addition the walkways and paths leading to the entrance have used TerraPave® Natural Aggregate Flags – helping to showcase the building as one with a modern, elegant character. A selection of interesting architectural pillars has been created using special quadrant blocks from the Corinthian range, and these perfectly complement the building design, and are yet another example of the flexibility in design provided by Alphacrete architectural masonry.
