Legislation such as BB93 (Building Bulletin 93) and the England and Wales part E, 2003, all now make reference to reverberation times within buildings, which will effect the design process of the construction industry throughout Ireland and the UK. Acheson & Glover realised that one of the best ways to satisfy this legislation for an enclosed space would be through the largest surface area - the walls. Acheson & Glover commissioned extensive research into the factors affecting the acoustic performance of its decorative blocks. Following many refinements a revolutionary new product 'Alphacrete® Acoustic' has been brought to market, which assists the specifier to comply with this legislation.

Alphacrete Acoustic is available in the following colours, with two finishes available (Athena and Corinthian finishes). Additional colours are available on request.
