Acheson & Glover has launched the first decorative block to be manufactured in Ireland designed specifically for internal room acoustic performance which will help meet the needs of new and impending acoustic design guidelines.

The launch of Alphacrete Acoustic follows the recent introduction of legislation in the UK relating to acoustic design in schools. Recognising its potential impact on the UK construction industry - and in light of growing demand in Ireland - Acheson & Glover developed the highly innovative product in association with acoustic noise control specialists, AWN Consulting and Commercial Connections.

Independently conducted tests show it offers significantly better acoustic absorption than traditional alternatives. Available in a wide range of colours, Alphacrete Acoustic has a maintenance-free finished surface, enabling specifiers to create stunning schemes which not only look good, but sound good as well.

Acheson & Glover launched Alphacrete Acoustic at a special seminar that attracted architects and builders from across the island of Ireland.
