Bespoke Permeable Design

EPG Clear are a consultancy formed by the amalgamation of industry experts in the fields of Sustainable drainage design, flood risk assessment and land remediation. A number of their key staff have, and continue to be, closely involved with CIRIA (Construction Industry Research and Information Association), being authors and co-authors of most of the best practice guidance in this field.

We offer a unique bespoke design service utilising the leading SUDS consultancy EPG Clear Limited who have unrivalled experience in the delivery of innovative, cost-effective, integrated SUDS designs in accordance with best practice guidance.

The Service

The service is available at a number of different stages within the design and construction process.

Stage 1. Planning

At this stage of the process, the following information is provided in the design report.

• Design Philosophy statement
• Conceptual AutoCAD design drawings
• Preliminary Hydraulic Calculations

This is generally adequate to take this section of the design through the planning procedure.

Stage 2. Detailed Design

The design report at this stage provides all the information required to bring the project through tender to the construction phase.

•   System overview
•   Detailed layouts and construction details
•   Detailed hydraulic and structural calculations
•   Effluent/silt loading calculations

Design Advice

For those who do not want to avail of the full services as outlined, they can request design advice which can take many forms, from a simple phone call right through to submitting their design for consideration by the EPG Clear experts who will advise if any new and more cost effective solutions should be considered.
