Founded in 1960, Acheson & Glover (www.acheson-glover.com) is a leading manufacturer of paving and flags, masonry block, retaining walls, bricks – including mortarless brick systems - hollowcore flooring and stairs. Headquartered in Fivemiletown, County Tyrone, it operates six manufacturing operations and has sales offices throughout the UK and Ireland. Acheson & Glover pioneered the segmental retaining wall (SRW) market in Ireland by acquiring a manufacturing licence for its Anchor range from a leading US company in 1999. Since then it has introduced a growing variety of products now used in numerous schemes ranging from residential landscaping to projects with commercial retaining walls up to 12 metres in height.

Acheson & Glover today remains the market leader and is the only Segmental Retaining Wall manufacturer in Ireland with BBA accreditation - which is necessary for TAS approval – and the only one to offer locally-based on-the ground design and engineering support.
