Acoustic Noise Control
One example of the company’s solutions-led approach is to be found in the recent introduction of legislation in the UK concerning acoustics in schools.
Recognising the impact the new regulation will have on design processes in the UK construction industry – and in light of growing demand in Ireland - Acheson & Glover constructed an acoustic test facility - comprising reverberant chamber and control room - at its Fivemiletown headquarters.
The company then worked with acoustic noise control specialist, James Reynolds, to develop a completely new decorative block product known as Alphacrete® Acoustic. Launched earlier this year, it is the first product of its type to be designed and manufactured in Ireland with the specific aim of satisfying current acoustic requirements.
