The Challenge. Client has a large garden area but wanted to reduce the grassed area, cut down on maintenance as well as making a feature of their new home. The client also wanted to create impact at the front of the home with a landscaped solution.
The Solution. Our landscape designer drew plans to create tiered beds using the new Bayfield Stone. The Cotswold Buff colour was chosen so as to contrast the darker brick front of the house and give a brighter effect at the main entrace.
The landscape designer drew up plans to create two terraced flower beds using the new Anchor Bayfield Stone to act as retaining walls to support the terraces and steps which formed access into the lawns.
The Result? Anchor Bayfield created beautiful flower beds and terraces which encorporated a variety of flowers, shrubs and trees of various heights. The terraced beds also break up the size of the grassed area as well reducing the steep slope from the front of the house into the lawn. Overall a beautiful focal point and feature has been made at the front of the home.
